ASBESTOS INSPECTIONS
Whether your building is a single-family residence, apartment complex, commercial, or government-owned, we are able to perform a thorough survey in compliance with the Texas Asbestos Health Protection Rules (TAHPR), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP), and Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA). We will be able to determine the quantities and locations of asbestos-containing building materials by collecting samples of such materials and assessing their condition by visual or physical examination.
ASBESTOS AIR MONITORING & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
As required by the Texas Asbestos Health Protection Rules (TAHPR), air monitoring and onsite project management by a properly licensed individual must be performed during asbestos abatements where abatement by a licensed asbestos abatement contractor is required. Our team at Environmental IQ is able to collect air samples and analyze them utilizing a microscope onsite or by sending the samples to a licensed and accredited laboratory, in addition to managing the entire abatement process to ensure compliance with the TAHPR.
ASBESTOS MANAGEMENT PLANS
A management plan is a written plan for a public building that describes appropriate actions for the surveillance and management of asbestos-containing materials in the building. We at Environmental IQ, have extensive experience in creating and managing asbestos management plans especially for public schools and government buildings. Management plans include introduction and purpose, responsibilities of key personnel, information about asbestos-containing materials, assessment and regular monitoring, risk assessments, management options, preventive measures, and other important information.
